This Cycladic head represents one of the very first attempts of humanity to understand itself. The Cycladic head is part of the Cycladic art which was developed in the Greek Cycladic islands, in the South-western Aegean Sea, between 4500 and 2200 B.C. little is known about the meaning of the figural sculptures and whether they meant to show mortals or deities.
